Nut-Free Hummus

Nut-free Hummus

Hummus is a tasty snack, and a healthy one too. It has been one of my favourites for years now and I love trying all the different flavours you find in the shops. However, all shop-bought Hummus contains tahini which means they are not nut-free.

This Nut-free Hummus recipe doesn’t have tahini in and still tastes great! It is fresh, with a hint of spice and the quantities of these ingredients can be changed to give a different taste.

This recipe is for a classic hummus and can be used as a base for other flavours.

When you drain the chickpeas, save the water in the tin for making this Vegan Meringue.
